Is it a place, a feeling, a memory, a person, or something you carry with you? Home Beyond Borders invites artists to reflect on how home is shaped by movement, memory, culture, faith, relationships, and lived experience. Home is not only where we begin; it can also be something we build, lose, rediscover, and carry across time and space.
We are seeking artists working in all mediums (visual art, photography, painting, sculptures, mixed media, and poetry) who are interested in exploring what home means to them. Whether your roots are distant, layered or imagined we welcome work that speaks honestly to your experience.
This one-day multidisciplinary exhibition is developed as part of the WARP Mentorship Program and curated by Danayit Zeru. Home Beyond Borders will debut at Pique: Summer Edition 2026 in Ottawa.
